星期四，我让妈妈从奶奶哪儿给我拿了一盆花，我来养养看，这次养花还让我从中得到了启示呢。

妈妈告诉我，这盆花叫做长寿花。开始，我把这盆花当宝贝似的养着，每天细心地给它浇水、修枝、剪叶，于是，它在我的精心照料下，一点点成长起来了。可是后来，我的学习负担越来越重，也就忘了每天给它浇水、修枝、剪叶。这些事我是想起来才做，忘了就不做，但有一天，我突然惊奇地发现，它竟开花了。于是，我又开始精心照料起它来，可后来我又想：它不是叫长寿花吗，既然它能长寿，我就不用那么煞费苦心的给它浇水、修枝、剪叶了。但是到后来，爸爸常把一些鸡蛋壳，水果皮等东西放进土里，我见了便开始心疼起来，爸爸便语重心长地对我说，“甜甜，虽然它叫长寿花，但并不代表它能长命百岁呀，不管怎么说，它始终也是花，只有在你的精心照料好精心呵护下才能长命百岁的呀！”听了爸爸的话名为渐渐明白了，于是，我养花也养出了一点启示来了。

这盆长寿花，它时常被我忽略，时常被我冷落，但它并没有因此而放弃生命，而是努力的生成，拼命地开花，而我也要像它一样，做一个有用的人，把我的人生变成光彩夺目的。
